Located at Laem Ratchawet on Na Klua Road in North Pattaya, the Sanctuary of Truth is a magnificent wooden castle by the sea, adorned with intricate sculptures and carvings that reflect ancient wisdom and worldview. Built by Mr. Lek Viriyaphan, the founder of the Ancient City and Erawan Elephant Museum, this wooden sanctuary is the largest of its kind in Thailand, constructed entirely from wood in the traditional Thai carpenter style. Inside, visitors can admire wood statues and carvings that depict the philosophy of life. The art style used in the sanctuary is considered benevolent, making it one of the masterpieces of this era. The Sanctuary of Truth was also honored with the Thailand Best Travel Industry Award in 2008.
